My greatest inspiration when I was a very young artist were the illustrations by John R. Neill -- drawn for The Wizard of Oz series of books, which were written by Frank L. Baum. The black and white drawings danced, flowed, moved out of the page -- were so powerful! I was thunderstruck when I first saw them. Besides these, I continue to be inspired by all things Tropical, Marine Life, Chinese and Asian artifacts and culture, flowers and plants and the look of French Provence linens and their colors. I am sure that lovers of these motifs would appreciate adding a spark of color on the walls of their home!!
